Inspire The Nation | Day 22 | Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School, Senior Block | Dimapur | Nagaland

I stopped at a tea point in transit to Dimapur, Nagaland for some time. I saw a guy there who had the guitar but strangely, no idea about it. And I, the one who is crazy about guitar, who only aims to inspire people to follow their passion, went on to teach him. Tried my level best to make him aware of all the basics. I felt good with all the little that I could do to anybody.

After reaching Dimapur, I took a hotel there. Some hilarious moments were cracked up with a good friend by my side because of my unruly driver. Late in the evening, around 8:30 p.m., there is no hustle-bustle in Nagaland. Hardly anyone can be seen on the streets after that time.

The next day, I contacted different people in my network. After several tries, I connected with the owner of the Living Stone Foundation, a potent person. His name is mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records. He has also organised a fashion show on Mount Everest. It was a sheer delight to meet him. Later, I went to the school where the foundation had organised a first-rated convocation. To my surprise, they are very educated people. When I had to give my performance, rain found the moment to interlude. Everyone was asked to come under the tent. Thereby, I was given just 12 minutes to perform, for which I had to wait 3 hours. I had sung ‘Give Me Some Sunshine’ from the movie 3 Idiots. The performance didn’t turn out well because of the tight, packed schedule and chaos. Notwithstanding my not well-received performance, I enjoyed to the core the performance of a prominent artist, Arijit Singh of Nagaland, Allan Boho. What a fascinating singer he is.
At the end of the event, I met the education minister of Nagaland, an eminent personality. As a token of respect, I also received a book written by the foundation’s owner.

Overall, I had a great time in Nagaland except for one thing- the dryness in alcohol. Just kidding.

Then, I made my way towards my next destination- Kohima, the capital of Nagaland.
