Imphal, Manipur
Now, from Kohima in Nagaland, I moved towards Imphal, the capital of Manipur. Encompassed by steep hills, lush forests, young rivers and beautiful valleys, I made several halts throughout my roving. In the middle of all these disruptions, I performed for the students and with them on the roads as they went to and fro from their school.
I booked my room at the lavish Radisson Blu Hotel. I had my lunch at Subway.
I requested the hotel’s management to let me deliver a gig. But they were very cautious about their policy; no Hindi songs were allowed.
They were so adamant that I didn’t feel comfortable performing there.
So that day passed without any special mentions.
The next day, I bridged with one of my friends. Hence, I performed at a school named Kiddies Corner in Imphal. All the students were delighted with my singing, and they sang along. I was elated with my fair share of merry moments.
